Celebrate Frederick, Inc. is a private non-profit corporation working in partnership with The City of Frederick in the planning and implementation of special events and activities to offer the community a shared cultural experience. A Board of Directors oversees the organization, which houses seven volunteer planning committees that produce thirteen events sanctioned by the Mayor and Board of Alderman. Currently, there are approximately 100 volunteer members of Celebrate Frederick.
The signature events produced by Celebrate Frederick require an investment of volunteer resources working together. The reward is seeing the thousands of people who come out to the events that you have created! If you have enjoyed attending any of the events coordinated by Celebrate Frederick and would be interested in making an impact in the community, the Office of Special Events and Celebrate Frederick would love to have you as a volunteer.
